We are the leader of concepts for elderly and elderly living with dementia. Working everyday on the emancipation of the elderly, the social inclusion and the connection with the young(er) generation. Our pioneering efforts are broad recognized in the world. A current example is Villaggio Emmanuele F.M. Emanuele, the first Alzheimer village in Rome, Italy. Villaggio Emmanuele F.M. Emanuele is initiated and owned by Fondazione Roma and supervised by Van Hal Adviespraktijk BV. We are experts in developing and implementing models for quality of life for people living with dementia.
Our focus is on the individual, recognizing that each person has unique needs, values, interests and aspirations. We will always encourage and support the individual person to be able to continue with normal daily life. With our concepts people are more involved in their daily routine and decision making. The non-clinical
environment and integration into the community gives people living with and without dementia the right prompts to experience a normal life. Freedom of movement and access to outdoor spaces and the wider community provides opportunities for people to socially interact.
First and foremost, people with dementia are friends, relatives, neighbours and fellow members of society. The fact that they have a specific medical condition is secondary.
We prepare the society for the next generation of aged people.
